Author Biography:

C A Mitchell

Before becoming a serious writer, Carole was a therapist working for the NHS and then privately in mental health. Not long after this, her Mother fell ill with a series of mini-strokes. Taking care of her mother meant giving up her career, and when she could sneak those little times for herself, her passion for writing started taking off. When life gets bad, read, This motto came in useful when she was a child - from Grimm's Fairy Tales to the Classics and now contemporary fiction. 'I read to live,' she once said, but now also to write. If you can't change this reality, you can control the world of stories. Carole's degree was in World Literature with honors. Taking the plunge into a new future, the writing world, Carole's talent has shown itself. A unique writer whose goal is to write the perfect story.

Nick Stuart.

Born in Kent I enjoyed a busy and diverse career as a building surveyor, so serious writing came late to me. But I’ve always loved to write, if only to sound interesting in technical reports. Life experience, a love of travel and a natural humour inform my writing. When not writing I’m golfing, or working with Guide Dog puppies.

I’ve had short stories published, and self-published a novel in 2016. I’ve written a series of cosy crime novels plus work in other genres. I attend The Write Place creative writing school.

I’m currently developing my Facebook author page.
